As a wife, mother, life coach, student, and real estate agent Asia Purnell has continued to overcome generational barriers while building generational wealth. After obtaining her Degree, Asia became a first-generation graduate in her family. She is currently continuing her education where she is studying mental health to become a therapist. 

Embracing the idea that women can have it all, Asia also is certified as a life coach. Her journey as a life coach has been an opportunity for self-growth. It’s allowed Asia to open up and connect with others. When asked about her “why” behind becoming a life coach Asia said, “Self-awareness is key. Life coaching is about breaking the generational curse. It allows you to peel back the layers and pick apart what you want and how to implement it into your life.” Adding on to this, Asia said, “I want to help people understand that change is doable and it can be done.”

Over two years ago, Asia began her career as a real estate agent where she specializes in working with first-time home buyers. She plans to broaden her demographic by entering into the luxury market within the near future. As a real estate agent, Asia stands out among the crowd due to her pleasant demeanor and her attentiveness to her work. Many of her clients have become family because of the bonds that they have built. 

One of Asia’s proudest moments in real estate is when she worked with a first-time homeowner who was a single mom going through a divorce. The one promise that the mother made to her children was that they would get to stay in the same school district. Asia was tasked with the challenge of finding this family a comfortable home that allowed the children to stay at their school. She stepped up to the challenge and was able to get them into a home that brought them joy. When discussing this experience Asia said, “It felt great seeing how hard a mother worked to provide for her children. The joy I saw that they had about their home is something that I will never forget.”
